| Licking Missouri is located in the foothills of the Missouri Ozark Highlands in the south central part of Missouri. A beautifull smalll town. Licking has much to offer while resting peacfully in a scenic Ozark Region that is virtually free from polution of the air and water and is just 35 miles south of Rolla and I-44, 138 miles southwest of St. Louis, Missouri, and 100 miles northeast of Springfield, Missouri. U.S. Highway 63 and Missouri Highways 32 and 137 all run through Licking. Highway 63 is Missouri's primary north-south route in the center of the state.

The cool, clear stream is an ideal home for rainbow trout, and the scenic valley is the perfect setting for camping, hiking and other outdoor pursuits. A gristmill, built in 1896, is open seasonally for tours. |
